I think the two roles a lot common elements; they are about people and money, however there is probably a difference in emphasis. The CEO is more the driver, the challenger and visionary, while the CFO is more the enabler, the problem-silver and the analyzer. Of course, CEO’s need analytical skills and CFO’s need vision, but the weighting of those elements is different in each role. Both are important for any company. This vision is important to remember and strengthen the roles.
